Mount Laurel, NJ — April 22, 2026 — RhythMedix, LLC, a Pharos Capital Group portfolio company and a nationwide cardiac monitoring company, has launched the next generation of its RhythmStar® SL cardiac monitoring wearable.
The third-generation design improves comfort, wearability, and patient adherence through a compact lead configuration, a waterproof IPX-6 rating, and longer battery life. Those gains matter clinically, because a monitor a patient is willing to keep wearing is a monitor that captures the event.
RhythmStar continues to differentiate through built-in cellular connectivity. ECG data transmits automatically to the cloud for prompt review across all monitoring modes, so a device never has to be mailed back before the data can be processed.
Paired with the company's proprietary Augmented Arrhythmia Intelligence™ (AAI), RhythmStar SL delivers precise arrhythmia detection by combining advanced algorithms with a multi-layered data review process.
"RhythmStar represents our commitment to delivering a better way to monitor, one that prioritizes both patient comfort and clinical performance. By combining a more wearable design with seamless data transmission and expert review, we're helping clinicians access the insights they need, when they need them," said Brian Pike, Chief Executive Officer of RhythMedix.
"RhythMedix is taking a truly visionary approach to cardiac monitoring by combining patient-friendly design with advanced technology and expert oversight, helping clinicians make more confident, timely decisions," said George Shaw, MD, Electrophysiologist at AHN Allegheny Health Network. "It's a meaningful step forward in how we deliver and manage cardiac care."
RhythMedix has monitored more than 2 million hearts to date.
