Bob Crants has been directly involved in private equity investments for fifteen years. He was previously with Goldman Sachs, where he was a founding member of the Special Investments Group, and was active in the development and marketing of proprietary equity derivative products, equity private placements, exchange funds and merchant banking funds totaling over $6.0 billion in gross funds raised. As a result of his work, in 1993 he received the Goldman Sachs Investment Banking Division Innovation Award. Mr. Crants is a founder of Pharos Capital Group. He graduated from Princeton University with an A.B., summa cum laude, in Economics. Mr. Crants is based out of the firm's Nashville office.
